About
Albert Verile is the founder of Sharpline Investigations, LLC, a legal investigations agency specializing in liability investigations into catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases as well as providing fraud prevention, detection, and deterrence solutions for small to mid-sized businesses.
Prior to Sharpline Investigations, Albert served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Albert’s assignments ranged from Patrol Deputy, Gang Intelligence Deputy, Field Training Officer, Crisis Intervention Team Member, and Street Crimes Unit Member. Albert has testified numerous times during depositions as well as in civil and criminal trials. Albert’s testimonies later assisted in successful convictions on many high-profile cases.
Albert graduated Cum Laude from Saint Leo University in 2008 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a specialization in Homeland Security. In 2017 Albert attended the University of Tampa where he earned his Master of Science in Entrepreneurship. Albert has 10 years of investigative experience within the public and private sectors and holds an active certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Albert continues to increase his education through attending advanced investigative trainings and conferences as well as taking approved continual professional education credits through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Under Albert’s leadership, Sharpline Investigations has been named Best Business of 2018 by Three Best Rated®, Best Private Investigator in Tampa, Florida for 2017 and 2018 by Expertise, LLC, selected as a finalist for small business of the year in 2017 by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, and nominated as small business of the year in 2016 and 2019 by the North Tampa Bay Chamber.
Albert believes in giving back to the community and does so by assisting with local organizations such as K9 Partners for Patriots, and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Albert serves as the president of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Tampa Bay Chapter and sits on the advisory board of the University of Tampa Center for Ethics. Albert is a member of the National Association of Legal Investigators and the North Tampa Bay Chamber. Albert also serves as a dedicated ambassador for the North Tampa Bay Chamber assisting with the integration of new businesses into the organization.
